Credit Card Payment Update:

It has been brought to our attention that the following forms of payment are not authorizing or processing with the City of Zanesville.

These Digital Wallets or Mobile Payment Systems have a feature that will decline any transactions processed back-to-back from the same processor, intending to prevent fraud.  We contacted our card processor regarding this and were told there is nothing the city can do.  

Please do not attempt to use Digital Wallets or Mobile Payment Systems; they will hold the funds and will not release them until the following business day. The City cannot issue a refund when this happens because the City did not receive the payment.

Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Venmo

And potentially any other form of payment that is not a traditional credit or bank card.
